Education + Care: Our Approach To Skin + Wellness Recommendations

ree

We know how overwhelming it can feel to constantly be marketed to, whether it’s through spam calls, endless ads, or pushy sales tactics. It’s no wonder so many people feel skeptical about whether what’s being offered is truly for their benefit.

That’s why our approach is different. For us, wellness goes far beyond the treatment room and every recommendation we share is rooted in care, authenticity, and our passion for helping you feel your best, never to pressure you.

While we are a business, of course, with memberships, services, and products to support your skin and well-being, we never push, persist, or make you feel obligated. Instead, we aim to educate, guide, and support you and your goals so you can make choices that feel right for your journey.

Why Education Matters

Your skin and wellness journey is unique. While a facial, massage, or body treatment provides incredible benefits in the moment, the best long-term results come from consistency and care at home (kind of like doing yoga or going to the gym).

That’s why so much of what we share through our blog, podcast, and conversations in the treatment room is rooted in education. Many of the wellness practices I recommend, like nutrition, yoga, sleep rituals, breathwork, or meditation, are things we don’t even sell. I share them because of the difference they’ve made in my own life and how my own eyes opened so much after I received my health coaching education.

I’ve talked about how the effects food, stress management, exercise, mindfulness, and sleep have had on my mood, energy, motivation towards my work, and patience as a mom quite a bit on my blog and podcast because I want to share how these things have helped me. I am not perfect and I fall off track just like everyone else, but I notice what a difference these practices make in the areas of my life that matter most to me and I hope it can do the same for others. Even if I find a skincare product that I absolutely love (right now this is the Hydra-Bright Hydrator by the way), I have to share it because I want to help others be happy too and enjoy the same results.

And this is why we provide personalized product suggestions and treatment tips: so you feel empowered to achieve your goals with clarity and confidence.

Memberships: Support for Long-Term Wellness

Memberships aren’t about locking you in, they’re about helping you stay consistent, which is truly the key to lasting results (which is why you can cancel at any time because we understand life happens). But a membership simply creates a rhythm of care that supports your long-term skin and wellness journey.

For example, we had a member who was getting married and shared with one of our estheticians how she has always struggled with her skin and since coming to citron regularly, has seen the biggest transformation in her skin and well-being.

Our memberships are never mandatory; if it doesn’t fit your lifestyle right now, that’s completely fine, and we’ll still support you in whatever way feels best.

Products: Personalized, Not Pushy

When we recommend products, it’s about helping guide you in achieving the best results for your specific skin and goals. We focus on quality, clinical actives, and skin-specific solutions.

We want you to leave knowing why a product could help and how to use it, with the freedom to decide what feels right.

Our Mindset: Care Over Sales

Every recommendation we make comes from a place of care. If a product, service, or membership isn’t right for you, we respect that fully. Our role is to guide, support, and ensure your experience always feels authentic and uplifting.

Your Experience Matters Most

At Citron, our focus will always be on you and your comfort, your results, and your overall well-being. Sharing product and membership recommendations is just one of the ways we care for you, never to pressure you if something isn’t a fit.

When I opened Citron as a boutique-style spa, I wanted to make sure our guest experience was refreshing, inspirational, and personalized. One that provided a community and a haven for our guests to grow their wellbeing inside and out. I truly wanted to create a space that I would love as a guest, and that’s why we will never be the type of business that doesn’t put you first.

True wellness is never about inauthentic selling; it’s about helping you thrive.
